Sautéed Artichoke Hearts

Serves 4

Cooking time: 35 minutes


4 Artichokes ( approximately 1½ Kg)

1 Lemon juiced

1½ Tablespoon butter (20g)

3 Tablespoons whole milk

¼ Teaspoons salt

1 Tablespoon finely chopped cilantro (7g)

Pepper to taste.



Follow the instructions in the “How To” section, to peel the artichokes. Place the artichoke hearts in a large saucer, cover with water, add the lemon juice and boil on medium-high heat for 25 -30 minutes.

Drain the water away and cut the artichoke hearts into cubes.

Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the artichoke hearts, milk and salt. Simmer on low heat for 4- 5 minutes. Add the chopped cilantro.

Pepper to taste before serving.
